A Step in the Right Direction

We're getting new sidewalks! A notice was left on the doorstep Thursday alerting us that sidewalk repair will take place within 60 days. They'll trim and remove trees (if needed), cut out roots and romovedl all damaged sidewalk and curb. By Friday, spray painted hieroglyphics had appeared on the walk in front of our house. We've been waiting so long for the much promised new sidewalk, it's hard to believe it's really going to happen. The only down side is that we may have to park on the next block for a day or two.
